PAPAYA's 2016 Theatre Camp at The Philadelphia School

Actor’s Workshop:  Developing your Unique Artistic Voice

PAPAYA teams up with The Philadelphia School for our 2nd Annual Summer Theatre Camp!  PAPAYA at TPS is a unique theater camp that empowers students to think about the whys and hows of theater arts. Each day will include theater games, improvisation, scene work, and creative play designed to build confidence, critical thinking, and imagination. Campers will cultivate their unique artistic voice and develop collaborative skills in the creation of original performance.

At PAPAYA the focus is on fun and discovery. The program is directed by working professionals on the cutting edge of theatre. Lead instructors are Katie Croyle (professional actor with 5 years experience teaching at the TPS Actors’ Workshop after school program) and Mason Rosenthal (theater artist with over 10 years of experience working with kids). Parents will be invited to attend a final performance at the week’s end.
